Shira Lucé’s “Spirit Guide” is a spiritual and musical wedding vow that she performed for her legal wedding ceremony to her husband Daniel. The song was inspired by Shira’s conversion to Judaism and the love that she has for her husband and growing family. The song is a promise to be there for him as his mirror and life partner and to provide loving spirit and support to their relationship as long as they both shall live. They were married by Judge Caprio in a small backyard civil ceremony in Providence, RI on June 5th 2021, surrounded by family, and renewed their vows with a Jewish ceremony and celebration at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts on September 10th, 2022. The couple are expecting their first child in January of 2023.
During Shira’s spiritual discovery and journey converting to Judaism (from Catholicism), she explored healing rituals in Christianity and Buddhism and she has adopted some Buddhist practices into her life, which all relate to the 90s-tinged rock ballad “The Buddha is Stoned”. On the tune, Shira sets the tone with the lyric Don’t think too hard or you’ll come undone - an adopted mantra she lives by in terms of letting go and just living in the present. Furthermore, Shira talks about the three things that can’t be hidden for long: the sun, the moon and the truth of song, an actual Buddha quote combined with her own lyrics. “I look at Buddhist practices as a way to free yourself, heal from grief, and to find the love we all crave within ourselves”. “Remember Right” is an entry in Shira Lucé’s journal telling of her regrets and identifying her patterns and shadows. She croons longingly for her own essence to shine through her trauma so that she can feel and be her best self. She sees her Jungian shadow as “playing tricks” on her when she is triggered to act in false ego. The song is a haunting broadway ballad connecting Shira to the spirits who guide her through a dance with herself, ultimately recognizing and embracing her fearless free spirit within.
The prayer “Light” shows how Shira Lucé is an empath at her core. She has also learned that there’s no light without the darkness, and she has had more than her fair share of tragedy, which she so courageously documents on her song “Light”:
I couldn’t see, I was blind, I lost my mind and I couldn’t find a reason for being alive
This timeless and stunning prayer elevated Lucé throughout her spiritual journey leading up to her conversion and ultimately her marriage in 2021.

Shira Lucé co-wrote “Dream State” with Lily Lewis for people to reflect on the world right now. “We’re all kind of in a dream state currently, hoping to get back to some kind of reality”. The mid-tempo track was produced by Offtrack with piano accompaniment by Scotty Grand. Shira considers the song a gateway to enlightenment through healing from past pain. Her life’s entire ideology has shifted, previously holding on to things in the past with the lyric fighting for others to see her while she has carved out a clearer path embracing the present and the future with another lyric fame is not reality. Lucé brought Dream State to be remastered by producer Greg Papania in 444Hz. 444Hz, is said to evoke feelings of peace and joy. The music video was directed by Roman Lane and shot in Topanga Canyon and at Mr. C Hotel in Beverly Hills. The music video available for download will be donating a portion of the proceeds to United Plant Savers to help preserve and protect at risk and endangered medicinal plants for future generations of healers and seekers.
The tranquil “Mirror” opens with calm waves crashing on the beach blended with Shira’s soothing vocal telling the story of reflection. Whether it’s the crystal clear water, a mirror or her heart, Shira recognizes her power on the introspective mid-tempo ballad reminiscing and opening herself up to love and change and possibility. The optimistic pop track twinkles with piano and has elements of a fairy tale, alluding to Snow White. Lucé’s lyric “swim out to the deep, reveal the deepest parts of me” signals a change in her that despite gray skies inevitably blocking her shine, she must look within and find her reflection to capture her light at all times.
